Pi-hole Network Deployment
Network-wide ad and malware blocking for a local business, running on a Raspberry Pi — 20–40% of DNS queries filtered before they ever resolve.
A local business wanted fewer ads and a safer network; a Raspberry Pi running Pi-hole delivered both. It's the smallest project here — and the one non-engineers ask about most.
The setup
Pi-hole deployed and configured on a Raspberry Pi, managed entirely over SSH. It sits in front of the network's DNS: every domain lookup from every connected device passes through it, and known ad and malware domains simply never resolve.
The result
20–40% of all DNS queries blocked at the network level — no client software to install, effective on every device that joins the network. 192.168.4.29
